Seminole is getting a new spot to get bowled over.

Last weekend, on March 29, Cava opened its newest Florida location in Seminole City Center next door to Pieology Pizzeria.

The national fast-casual chain's menu fatures Mediterranean-inspired chow like grain bowls, salads and pita wraps. Guests can choose from pre-set combinations of each menu item or build their own.

This is the company's 6th Tampa Bay location.

Before the store opened officially, Cava invited guests in for Seminole Community Day. They offered visitors a free meal and accepted donations, which the restaurant would match up to $1,000. The event raised funds for Feeding Tampa Bay, and since the companywide Community Day events began in 2019 Cava has raised over $500,000 in donations to improve food security in local communities.

“Our mission is to bring heart, health, and humanity to food, and everything we do at CAVA is grounded in that spirit of generosity, to our guests, our team members, and our community,” Regional Director Scott Sheffield said in a press release. “We couldn’t be more excited to be in Seminole.”

The new Seminole store will employ 30-35 local folks and is located in Seminole City Center at 11165 Park Blvd., according to a press release.
